Invisible City Accordion
In this exercise, I designed an accordion book on Adobe InDesign. I was given a passage of one invisible city and assigned to interpret the story with motifs, type, and color. Cover page was made from photographs taken from RISD Nature Lab with a microscopic camera. Other images are collages I made from stock magazines. Some things I took in mind were image placement pattern, image-type relationship, type placement, variations in layouts, typeface settings, and transitions. I hope my design delivered the overall atmosphere of the city, Clarice.
