Butterfly Knit
Using the doubled bed knitting machine, I incorporated Ribbing, the Ottoman, and Ladder techniques to mimic the wings of the butterfly. The end result is interesting structures and textures in the fabric. The structure changes the shape of the fabric and allows dimensionality.
